Obituary Mrs. Nowell Salmon - Trust Annual Report 1965
It is with great regret that we have to report the death of Mrs. Nowell Salmon. She was a staunch supporter of the Trust and had been a member of the Committee for several years. In addition to her keen interest in the Trust's main activities she also had an eye for detail, and on several occasions brought to our notice small but important matters. She naturally had a particular interest in the Hyde area and it was a great disappointment to her that the cottages opposite Hyde church were eventually demolished.
