A series of ten lectures given by Mrs. Carpenter-Turner on Georgian and Victorian Winchester, organised by the Committee for Adult Education.

July 16th and 23rd.
Two lectures on the Cathedral by the Cathedral Architect.

Events for members:

April 24th.
Extra-ordinary General Meeting to amend the Articles of Association, followed by a talk by the project team of the Wessex Regional Hospital Board on the new Hospital plans.

Tours of Winchester conducted by Mrs. Carpenter-Turner.

'Talking Antiques'. Discussions by panels of experts. Proceeds to Winchester Diocesan Council for Social Responsibility.

'Talking Antiques'. Discussions by panels of experts Proceeds to Winchester Preservation Trust.

During the Summer Mrs. Robin Cole organised a number of voluntary guides from members of the Trust for the benefit of visitors to Winchester. The proceeds were divided between the Preservation Trust and the Wild Life Fund.
