Urban Studies Committee - Trust Annual Report 1988
Frank Chippindale was the progenitor of the Urban Studies Committee, and he continued to play an active part and to take the closest interest in it almost to the day of his death. Despite his illness, therefore, the year was a typically active one.
The highlights were, perhaps, the publication of Frank's booklet on St. Thomas Street (illustrated by Keith Leaman) - the fifth in a series on various streets in Winchester published by the Trust, and a successful public forum on Office Development in Winchester, which took place in the Guildhall in April.
