Archives - Trust Annual Report 1999
Much thought has been given to clarifying the archivist role of the Trust - material needed for the future requires preservation methods well beyond the scope of the Trust. It is now considered that the Trust can fulfil a useful role in compiling copies of plans and sketches of today's developments and so action is turning to this aspect. A bequest of some £7,000 last year is providing funds and a further quantity of archival quality boxes have bought.
Lack of volunteers to help with these tasks has kept progress to the pace of a sleepy snail.
