Publicity News - TrustNews Summer 2001

www.hants.gov.uk/cwt

For the increasing number of our members who are "web-wise", the Trust's website gives a more comprehensive view of the objectives and work of the Trust than it would be possible to put in the new yellow brochure that has recently been sent to all our members.

We hope to update the website regularly as the emphasis or nature of the Trust's work changes and develops, reflecting the needs and priorities of our City.

We have recently put on the web the text of the Trust's Policy on future design criteria for the built-up areas. It is probable that we will be adjusting the text in due course, in order to make it easier to identify specific sections on the website more quickly.

We are particularly grateful to Trust member Dick Selwood, who has spent many hours, at no expense to the Trust, translating our rather inexpert requests and ideas into a very readable website!

New Brochure

The new yellow brochure reflects the change of the Trust's name and logo, and updates the subscription types and rates. We hope very much that you can display this on your mantelpiece or hall table, with a view to letting people know what we are about, and encouraging them to join us. A personal recommendation is by far the best way of strengthening our membership.

Trust Display - City Library

In October 2001 there will a display of the activities of the Trust in the Jewry Street City Library.

General Purpose Flyer

We have also published a "one-side-of-A4" flyer for general use. Please ask the Trust Secretary for more brochures or flyers if you think they would help to spread the word.

Any ideas

We are always looking for better ways of publicising the work of the Trust, so please let the Trust Secretary or the members of the Publicity Committee know (Sally Patience, Gill Collymore and Antony Skinner).
