Award Scheme - TrustNews Dec 03
The Trust is, again in 2004, organising its Award Scheme and is now inviting submissions. This prestigious scheme, whose aim is to identify and acknowledge quality in the design of buildings within the City of Design check-list for Winchester, has five categories:
1. New buildings (of any size);
2. Rehabilitation/restoration of older buildings, including the sympathetic refurbishing of exterior details;
3. Landscaping;
4. Shop fronts, fascias and facades;
5. Strectscape: lighting, signs, street furniture, walls, fencing, flooring.
Awards and/or Commendations will be considered for each of the above. Projects submitted should have been completed between 1 January 2001 and 31 March 2004.
