At last, we may have a purpose built building for Roger Brown's incredible model.
Mr Mohammed Bakhaty owns this vacant site in City Road and wishes to offer it and pay for a building to be constructed to house the model.
There will be a flat above the exhibition rooms which will help towards the costs.
The design is unashamedly gothic, to held in with the Victorian street scene, which befits a model of Victorian Winchester.
Roger and Mohammed will need support when it goes in front of the banning committee. Positive letters will be helpful when it is submitted.
