Winter Talk

Dick Selwood, Chairman of Winchester Archaeological Rescue Group (WARG) will talk about the recent excavations at St Cross
Winchester Action on Climate Change (WinACC)
The Trust is a member and a supporter of WinACC. The Trust has recently measured its own carbon footprint as 4.77 tonnes. A review has been carried out of the Heritage Centre and, where possible, light bulbs have been changed to the low energy type and more energy saving measures are planned.
The Trust is also involved in WinACC's Transport Action Group which is looking at ways of reducing carbon emissions in Winchester's transport systems.

1. This wall is between Southgate and Kingsgate and lies in a private car park by 31 Canon Street (Old St Michaels Mission Hall)
2. This is alongside the stream between King Alfred Terrace near Hyde Gate and records the improvement work carried out in 1976.
