GDPR Update - Important! - TrustNews Sep 18
The new regulation on data protection (the GDPR) requires us to get the consent of our members so that we can contact them via post, telephone or email. Thanks very much to all members who responded to our email or returned our form with their preferences on how they would like to be contacted. We had about a 75% response rate, which was fantastic.
If a consent form is enclosed with this issue of TrustNews, we would be very grateful if you would complete it and return it to us as soon as possible so that we can continue to send you TrustNews and other important Trust information. Just one clarification: a significant number of members who responded did not give us their permission to send them ‘bulk emails’. These are the updates we send out via email about Trust events such as the summer walks, as well as news and information about important issues in Winchester that we think are of interest to members. These emails come from the Trust - we will never give your email address to any other organisation.
