Mark Dodd

 

Mark Dodd died peacefully in Winchester Hospital on November 29th, aged 90. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Mark was Controller of Overseas Services at the BBC and moved to Winchester in 1983. He was fully engaged in the life of the City he loved. He was an active member, and for some time a trustee, of the City of Winchester Trust and he enjoyed walking in the surrounding countryside. He was also a gifted painter and often exhibited at local shows. He is survived by his wife Shirley, five sons, nine grandchildren and one great grandson. Donations, if wished, to the Woodland Trust.
