Local Government (access to Information) Act 1985 - TrustNews April 1986
This Act came into force on 1st April, 1986. In essence, all Local Authority correspondence and documents (with certain exceptions) will now be available for public inspection.
Comments on planning applications must be available to the public three full days before the applications are dealt with.
