Collection of Slide Transparencies - TrustNews January 1987
The Urban Studies Committee's intention to establish a slide collection, mainly of Winchester buildings and events, was mentioned in the 1986 Annual Report. The collection will provide a useful visual reference for use at lectures, etc. It will also be available for loan, and some slides may be selected for inclusion in the new audio/visual presentation being prepared for the Heritage Centre.
Offers have already been received, and the Trust would welcome more. Donations of slides, with brief details of the buildings and events photographed, the approximate date when taken and the name and address of the donor, should be sent to Harold Sturges, C/o. Winchester Heritage Centre, 52/54 Upper Brook Street, who will be pleased to acknowledge all gifts received.
