St. Thomas Street Booklet - TrustNews February 1988
Launched in January, this booklet is the fifth in the Winchester Street series published by the Trust, and the most appealing in its appearance.
It differs from its predecessors in that it provides much more information about previous inhabitants of the buildings described.
The text is by Frank Chippindale and the line drawings are by Keith Leaman. Help and advice given by members and others is acknowledged inside the back cover. Special thanks are also due to George Burnett, who collected a substantial sum towards the cost of production in the form of contributions from businesses in St. Thomas Street and from its Residents' Association.
The price from Winchester booksellers is 90p. For those members who can bear to wait until the Heritage Centre reopens on 1st March, the special members' discount price (obtainable there but nowhere else) will be 70p.
