Plaques - TrustNews Spring 1988
A sponsor has been found for a plaque to Sherlock Holmes, to be placed on Black Swan Buildings. The owners have given the Trust permission to fix the plaque and the Sherlock Holmes Society of London has advised us on the wording.
An offer of sponsorship has also been received in respect of the proposed Lingard plaque in St. Thomas Street. Ideas for future plaques include one on Queen's Lodge, commemorating Queen Catherine of Braganza, and one in the gardens created by Professor R. Gleadowe, designer of the Stalingrad sword.
