Annual General Meeting - Monday 26 September 2016

A reminder that the Trust's AGM will be held at the Stripe Auditorium, The University of Winchester, on Monday 26 September at 7 pm. The agenda notice has been sent to all members in the latest TrustNews mailing. The speaker this year will be Freddie Gick who is the Chairman of Civic Voice, which represents most of the Civic Societies up and down the country. He is a gifted speaker and often has to represent Civic Voice at the highest political levels.

Freddie Gick is a former research scientist and international management consultant who has been involved with civic societies for about 20 years, and is currently a member of Civic Societies in Cheltenham, Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield. As Chairman of the Birmingham Civic Society from 2004 to 2009, he led a major expansion of its activities including large scale city-wide tree planting and a programme for schools that has so far involved approaching 20,000 children.

Please do come along to our Heritage Open Days at the Heritage Centre, and we hope to see as many members as possible at the AGM.

Thank you for your support,
Keith Leaman Chairman.
