Keep your House in Good Order....
Roofs
If you have to replace or repair your roof, use roofing materials as near the original as you can. Ask your roofer to save as many tiles and slates as possible for reuse and to take care in matching any new ones.
Remember concrete tiles do not look good on older houses and some heavier ones may even put a strain on the structure.
Dormers and roof-lights which are too big, poorly designed or badly placed can damage the appearance of the whole house. There are conservation roof-lights available that suit older houses. Dormers should, as far as possible, conform to the style of the house.
