11 Conservation Area
A natural extension of this conservation area would be to the north, as was suggested in the Fulflood Neighbourhood Study, the first in the series. To the west an extension would include the Police Headquarters, which would give more complete protection for West End Terrace. It is a matter of surprise that the original hospital in Romsey Road, a notable Butterfield building, was not included in the present Conservation Area.
