One of the Summer guided tours included a visit to Wharf Mill which had lain empty for some time and looked like being an awkward problem from the preservationist point of view.
Messrs. Bendalls are to be congratulated on an imaginative re-development which has secured residential use in place of the existing industrial use, which might have been incompatible with the area. There is no doubt that these flats in one of the most attractive parts of Winchester will be keenly sought after.
