The Hon. Treasurer, Peter Longhurst, known to many of you for seventeen years, has sadly retired from the post but not from the Trust, so we have, at least, not lost his good humoured presence at Trust functions. His efficient management of the Trust's affairs has been ably taken up by the new Manager of Barclay's Bank, David Weait, who promises to be as dedicated to the Trust as his predecessor, and whose wise counsel is already making sense of some of our wilder flights of fancy!
