Malvern Visit - TrustNews Jun 12
Tuesday 25th-26th September
Outline
Arrangements are in hand with the help of the Malvern Civic Society for a Trust visit. This is hoped to be a sociable visit with time to see the local highlights plus time to relax and enjoy the local hospitality.
Overnight Arrangements
Because of the considerable distance to Malvern it has been decided that we need to stay overnight. The programme will start in the late morning of 25th September allowing time for travel. Hotel recommen¬dations can be supplied if required and you will be required to make your own booking. Much of the or¬ganised visits will happen on the 25th with time on the 26th for you to arrange your own visits to suit your preferences.
Visit Details
Major places to visit include the Abbey, the Town Museum and the town centre. Some will wish to visit the Morgan motorcar factory, others the gardens of a splendid Arts and Crafts house called Perrycroft (Voisey) in nearby CoWall, or a walk in the hills. Malvern is an excellent centre. Close by are Upton-on Severn and Ledbury (a well preserved "Black and White" country town) and several National Trust Properties.
Cost
The likely cost per head will be £15 to include the visits on the 25th but not including accommodation, food and self-arranged visits.
Booking
To reserve a place on the trip please completed the form below and return it to the Heritage Centre by 15th July 2012.
