The regular city walking tours - daily in summer - visit the main historical sites of Winchester: many locals say how much they’ve learned by coming on these walks.
2018 will see an increased number of special themed tours which focus on particular aspects of Winchester's history, visiting the sites where events took place.
New introductions include regular Sunday afternoon walks from Winchester to St Cross and weekday lunchtime walks through some of Winchester's main streets. These are designed to fit into a lunch hour and are aimed at people who live or work here, providing stories and historical information.
