Covenants - TrustNews Spring 1987

In response to suggestions from several members and having overcome the administrative problems, we have decided to re-introduce covenants which have a considerable financial advantage for the Trust because it is a Registered Charity.

Any member who is kindly prepared to make a covenent is asked to tell Commander Tower (see Subscription Renewal article) who will provide the necessary forms and advise about procedure. You must be paying at least the basic rate of Income Tax. The normal length of a covenant is four years. Annual payments can continue to be made by Banker's Order or cheque or cash, but the date of actual payment has to be later than the covenant date.

We hope very much that many of you will consider carefully whether you can help the Trust to obtain additional income through the very painless covenant process.
