Keith Leaman has been appointed Chairman of the Committee in succession to Frank Chippindale.
The Committee is keen to expand its slide collection at the Heritage Centre and is to launch a competition with a prize for the most informative collection of slides covering the greatest time span.
Please look out your redundant collection of Winchester slides and take it to the Heritage Centre. An evening event will be held in 1989 when the winning collection will be shown and the winner rewarded.
