The Projects Group exists to identify areas of our city that require attention, either by preserving existing details, or providing new items of interest. Current projects include; repairs to railings outside a house in St James' Lane, helping with a new hanging sign for a shop in Chesil Street, providing assistance to a group in Hyde wishing to commemorate the supposed burial site of King Alfred, and working towards a design competition to improve the fountain in St George's Street.
