Hyde Gate - TrustNews Spring 1996
The drawing below is by Nicholas McPherson who has recently completed an MA in Art & Design (illustration) at Kingston University. He chose as his major project illustrations of Hyde (his own area) over five centuries. These illustrations, dating from the Dissolution of the Monasteries (1539) to the present day, were recently exhibited at Kingston and Covent Garden are now on display at The Heritage Centre (Saturdays 10.30-4.30 until 15 April.
