St.Martin's Winnall and the Blue Boar - Trust Annual Report 1970
We reported last year that a proposal had been made by the Scandinavian Lutheran Church to restore this small church and use it as their centre for the South of England. It now appears that this proposal has been abandoned, and it seems likely that the site will become residential. At the top of the hill the restoration of the old Blue Boar is proceeding well. The group of buildings from St. John's Church to St. John's Croft will be one of the most attractive in Winchester.
